The Bid – If you don’t nail it here and you don’t even get the chance to prove your ability as a competent contractor on site as the project will be awarded to someone else. That's why it’s imperative that the Bid/Precon team are on point.
I’m working with one of the sector (fit out) leading contractors who have an opening for what they are titling a ‘Bid Manager/Pre Construction Manager’. You’ll be working with a cracking team who can make the Bid look slick, but what we are looking for is someone with the right mind and eyes who can identify risks and offer solutions/alternatives, advise on constructability, and offer a certain level of reassurance on the successful delivery plan coming from someone who has lived and breathed it – that’s why we are thinking it would suit someone who has come from a delivery background.
