Job Title: Construction Administrator / Document Controller (6-Month FTC)

Location: Manchester

Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 pro rata (depending on experience)


About the Role

We’re working with a leading construction and fit-out company who are looking for a proactive Construction Administrator / Document Controller to join their Manchester team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

You’ll play a key role in supporting project teams, managing documentation, coordinating reports, and keeping site admin running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in construction or a similar project-led environment who enjoys keeping things organised and moving forward.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project documentation using EDMS systems (e.g. Asite, Viewpoint, 4Projects).

  • Control the flow of documents, drawings, and correspondence between project teams and stakeholders.

  • Support the project team with administrative duties including reports, meeting minutes, and document formatting.

  • Ensure documents are version-controlled, compliant, and archived correctly.

  • Liaise with subcontractors and consultants to ensure timely receipt and distribution of information.

  • Maintain registers, trackers, and logs for key documentation and approvals.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller, Construction Administrator, or Project Support within the built environment.

  • Familiar with document management systems (e.g. Asite, Viewpoint, 4Projects, or similar).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.

  • Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
