Role Overview
We’re searching for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join a leading Design & Build team in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to work with prestigious clients on bespoke commercial projects, where your creativity and expertise will be key to pushing boundaries and setting new standards in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in in-depth research and development of unique design concepts.
Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into a tangible design strategy.
Outline comprehensive project schedules to guide the design process.
Create schematic designs, mood boards, and sketches that capture the essence of each project.
Discover new suppliers and source high-quality materials, fabrics, furniture, lighting, finishes, and decor elements.
Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of trends and innovations within the industry.
Produce intricate working drawings, plans, schedules, and specifications that ensure precision and excellence in delivery.
Craft compelling presentations and sample boards to effectively communicate your design vision to clients.
Attend project sites to oversee the installation process, ensuring the design is realised to the highest standard.
Requirements
A degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Experience working at a top London D&B firm or a leading Commercial AJ team.
A highly creative mindset, with a passion for pushing the boundaries within the commercial design world.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong skills in model-making, sketching, and illustration.
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with a commitment to excellence.
