I’m working with a well-respected Design and Build firm in the City who are looking to bring in a Senior Pre-Contracts Manager to lead on tenders across projects ranging from £500k to £5m.

This is a key commercial role in the business — you’ll take ownership of the front-end process, working closely with clients, design teams, and the commercial lead to develop compelling bids that win work.

You’ll need to be confident managing multiple tenders at once, leading presentations, and shaping win strategies on a variety of commercial fit-out and refurbishment schemes.

The business has a healthy pipeline of work and is looking to grow sustainably — this role will suit someone who wants to have a real influence in that journey.

Requirements:

•Min. 5+ years in pre-construction or pre-contracts roles, ideally in D&B

•Experience managing tenders in the £500k–£5m range

•Confident in client-facing roles and leading presentations

•Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence outcomes

•Well-connected with supply chain and able to build pricing strategies
