Pre-Contracts / Estimator – Fit-Out
Central London
£40,000 – £50,000 + Bonus

I’m working with a small but well-established fit-out firm based in Central London, currently turning over around £6m with a close-knit team of 7.

They’re looking for a switched-on Pre-Contracts / Estimator to support on tenders across Cat A, Cat B, and refurb projects in the £250k–£2m range. You’ll be working directly with the MD and senior team, gaining exposure across the full pre-con lifecycle from early cost planning through to bid submissions.

Ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial or estimating role — possibly from a main contractor background — looking to join a business where they can make a real impact and develop quickly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the preparation of tender submissions and cost plans

  • Liaising with supply chain to gather and assess subcontractor quotes

  • Assisting with bid strategy and client presentations

  • Helping shape the commercial side of the business as it grows

What they’re offering:

  • Hands-on mentorship and exposure to everything pre-con

  • Tight-knit team with great culture and no red tape

  • Clear route to grow into a senior role

  • Flexible, Central London office environment

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years in estimating or pre-construction (main contracting or fit-out)

  • Confident with spreadsheets, cost breakdowns, and commercial strategy

  • Keen to learn, proactive, and commercially aware

  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

If you want to escape the red tape and join a company where your work actually gets noticed — this is worth a look.
