Job title: Pre-Construction Administrator

Location: London

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Are you a well-organised and proactive administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Pre-Construction Administrator to join a growing and ambitious team that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects.

In this role, you’ll be supporting the early stages of project delivery – from initial planning through to mobilisation – helping ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team who are passionate about safety, quality, and making a positive impact.

What you’ll be doing:

As part of the pre-construction team, you’ll be supporting the Pre-Construction Manager with a range of administrative and coordination tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of project proposals and client presentations

  • Supporting with budgeting and ensuring financial targets are met

  • Organising and scheduling surveys, preparing documentation, and liaising with clients and surveyors

  • Maintaining accurate project trackers and updating internal systems

  • Creating and updating client records, contracts, and site information

  • Attending meetings, taking minutes, and tracking actions to completion

  • Raising quotations for small works and variations (with support from the estimating team)

  • Helping to coordinate design, scope and specification details prior to project start

  • Handling basic reception duties such as answering calls and welcoming visitors

  • Identifying and flagging any risks during the pre-construction phase

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities. You’ll need to be a team player, a clear communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role (ideally in construction, engineering, or a similar field)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

  • Experience working with project or CRM systems (desirable)

  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn

What you’ll get in return:

  • A supportive and friendly team environment

  • Ongoing training, development, and mentoring

  • A personalised development plan to help grow your career

  • Modern office facilities with excellent on-site amenities

  • The opportunity to be part of a fast-growing business that makes a real difference
