The Role
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing all project-related documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained, and supporting the project team with document control processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain project documentation using document control systems (such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or Asite).
Ensure all documents are correctly numbered, logged, and distributed.
Maintain up-to-date records of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Liaise with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure document control procedures are followed.
Assist in the preparation and submission of project documentation for handover and compliance purposes.
Monitor document revisions and approvals to ensure version control.
Provide administrative support related to document management.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Document Controller within the fit-out or construction industry.
Proficiency in document management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of construction documentation standards and compliance requirements is advantageous.
