Mid-Weight FF&E Designer – Luxury Hospitality

£40,000 - £48,000 I Permanent I AutoCAD I SE London


We are currently looking for an experienced FF&E Designer to join a thriving F&B and hospitality interiors team based in SE London.


Specialising in luxury hospitality, the studio delivers projects of varying scale and complexity, from feasibility through to final delivery, around the World. This opportunity is ideal for a driven, detail-oriented designer with a flair for FF&E, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional interior spaces.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive finishes and furniture mood boards

  • Produce complete FF&E presentations, data sheets, and accurate specifications with associated costings

  • Draft detailed bespoke furniture and joinery drawings in AutoCAD

  • Create visual layouts and elevations using Photoshop

  • Manage and update budgets, procurement spreadsheets, and financial documentation

  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotes and confirm lead times

  • Oversee the coordination, delivery, and installation of FF&E items

  • Ensure the sample library and materials archive are kept current and well-organised

  • Contribute to design proposals and assist with tender documentation

  • Collaborate closely with team members

  • Balance multiple assignments simultaneously


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, product design, or furniture design

  • 3+ years of relevant experience working on upscale F&B or hospitality projects within the UK

  • Solid understanding of FF&E design, including materiality, sourcing, and specification

  • Proven ability to create and manage FF&E schedules efficiently

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and AutoCAD

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Competence in interpreting technical drawings, especially furniture shop drawings

  • Prior site experience, particularly involving FF&E installations, is advantageous

  • Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to team success
